Exaggeration in advertisement doesn’t always have to be a bad thing or lying about results, it can also be funny! For example in this video, the advertisement shows that when the buyer doesn’t agree for buying “panda cheese”, or eating it, some random panda pops out of nowhere and sort of ruins the person’s day ! the video is extremely funny and worth watching, in a way or another the advertisement makes you want to buy the product because it gave you a good laugh! I think it is a very smart way for advertising products, despite the fact that it is exaggerated.
"Never say no to panda cheese" has always been my favorite advertisement! I agree with the fact that the advertisement has a lot of exaggeration, but this ad ha just another taste. The way as u said they make the ad funny is the smart way for persuading people to buy the panda cheese product. We also know how advertisements through any medium have been deceptive and manipulative for many reasons like presenting false information and etc. but to be honest this ad has succeeded in attracting consumers by adding the humor prsented in the ad. I must say this was the best ad i have ever seen! i enjoy watching it over and over again and it really made me curious of tasting how panda cheese is like! To be honest from how much this ad has made me laugh i have downloaded it on my phone!
